About Us

The first edition of Life Magazine was published in March 2007 to widespread approval. Since then, it has established a strong reputation as an invaluable source of information to our readers and an effective form of advertising for local businesses.

A bi-monthly publication, “Life” is delivered free to homes in the area and in addition is available through a variety of other outlets including pubs, libraries, health centres and dentists' surgeries etc.

We currently publish two titles:

“North Wigan” has a total distribution of 14,500 copies and is delivered to homes and businesses in Standish, Shevington, Appley Bridge, Swinley, Whitley, Gidlow, Parbold, Wrightington, Newburgh and Wigan Town Centre.

“Hindley, Aspull & Haigh” has a total distribution of 10,000 copies and is delivered to homes and businesses in Hindley, Hindley Green, Aspull and Haigh.

The magazine is A5 and printed in full colour on quality 115gsm gloss paper. The quality of the publication ensures that our advertisers get prolonged exposure because many residents keep the magazine to refer to until the next issue arrives.

Research has shown that most people in the UK prefer to use local services, and most of our advertisers operate in or close to the Wigan area.

Our advertising rates start from as little as £27 per issue (+ VAT). That’s a whole years advertising for less than £200.
